Institute ChemTech Participates at COST Action

This network brings together 27 countries and focuses on sustainable solutions built on furan-based chemicals to society’s big challenges. As member of the management committee, Roger Marti will contribute with its competences in Green chemistry on the process research and development of sustainable processes of furan-based monomers and polymeric materials.

With a duration of 4 years, this COST action will work on a ‘holistic vision’ in which furan-based chemicals synthesis routes, polymers & polymeric materials development, characterization, economic, environmental and social factors are considered together, aiming at solutions to successful market introduction.
